Welcome to beautiful Ila - a fifteen minute walk from the city center! You can also hop on a bus, or the charming Gråkallbanen from St. Olavs street and enjoy the 7-minute tram ride, if you prefer.
Ila offers a lot of uniqueness and has grown into a wonderful district. Enjoy a coffee (and possibly an intimate concert) at Ila Brainnstasjon, stop by Galleri Ismene for an art exhibition - or buy something sweet from the nearby bakery or store, and enjoy a quiet moment by Skansen. With the stunning view to Munkholmen and all the beautiful sailboats bobbing in the harbor, it's easy to lower your shoulders and take a time-out here.
